What we mill, and an honest note on cedar
Seaton Forest Products specializes in dry balsam cants, rough-cut boards, and chips. Cedar is not our core product. We would rather be straight with you than promise something we do not regularly cut.
We mill dry balsam: the logs left burnt or behind in the bush that larger mills will not take. Every log leaves the yard as squared cants for finished lumber or as chips bound for a local pellet plant, so nothing is wasted.
