We only collect information you give us voluntarily through this website:
- Quote & contact form submissions — your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and the contents of your message.
- Direct emails or calls — anything you choose to share when you contact us at office@seatonforest.ca or (250) 847-1430.
This site does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies. A small browser-storage value remembers your light/dark theme preference — that's it.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide solely to:
- Respond to your inquiry or quote request
- Discuss potential or ongoing business with you
- Keep records of our communications for normal business purposes
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use your information for marketing purposes unless you specifically ask us to.

Quote submissions are sent to our office email and stored in standard business email and record-keeping systems. We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence and quote inquiries for as long as needed to support our business relationship with you, plus a reasonable period for tax, accounting, and legal recordkeeping. If you ask us to delete your information and we are not legally required to keep it, we will.
Third parties
This site loads web fonts from Fontshare and links out to Google Maps. These services may log standard request information (such as your IP address) when their resources are loaded or visited; we do not share any of your form submissions with them.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Request a copy, correction, or deletion of that information
- Withdraw any consent you have given (this may affect our ability to respond to active inquiries)
- File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

Children
This is a business-to-business website. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
